| Ron Chupp - President |
|
Ron Chupp has a Master’s degree in Social Work from Indiana
University and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Goshen College. He has worked in the addictions profession since 1991. Professional affiliations include NAADAC and IAAP, while serving as their current President. Ron was licensed as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in June of 2009 and as a Clinical Addictions Counselor (LCAC) in July of 2010. Ron chaired the ICAADA Ethics Committee from 2001 to 2004, and was a member of the Ethics Committee of IAAP until assuming the office of President in 2010. He is a current member of the NAADAC Ethics Committee. Ron has given a number of professional presentations on Ethics to addictions counselors throughout Indiana, and more recently, taught Addictions Counseling Skills and Social Work Policy at Indiana Wesleyan University. He currently works as an Addictions Therapist at Northeastern center in LaGrange (IN), wherein he addresses substance abuse problems in the Old Order Amish, including publishing a first-of-its-kind paper on “Treatment of Substance Abuse Among Old Order Amish Youth” in the NASW Specialty Practice section on Alcohol and Drug Abuse in 2008.

| Brent Stachler - Immediate Past President |
Brent Stachler is employed by Park Center, Inc., in Fort Wayne, Indiana, as the Gambling Addiction Treatment Program Coordinator. He has over fifteen years of experience as an Addictions Professional and holds both national and state credentials as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), a Master Addiction Counselor (MAC), a National Certified Gambling Counselor (NCGC I), and an Indiana Certified Addiction Counselor (ICAC II). Brent, a member of the Board of Directors for The Indiana Association for Addiction Professionals (IAAP), is the current President and former Certification Chairperson and also serves as Board member for NAADAC, The Association for Addiction Professionals. He obtained his Masters of Science in Education specializing in marriage and family therapy from Indiana University in June 2001 and began specifically working with problem and pathological gamblers and their families in October 2002.

| Tamara Brown - Treasurer |
Tamara Brown has worked in the mental health field since 1984, with the exception of serving four years in the United States Army. Her professional experience began as a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor in the areas ranging from detoxification to inpatient and outpatient treatment. After Tamara received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology in 1995, she began to concentrate her work in the area of family systems in counseling. In 2001, Tamara received a Master of Science Degree in Counseling from Indiana University with a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy. She also obtained state licensure as a Mental Health Counselor in 2007.Tamara is a founding member of the Indiana Association for Addiction Professionals (IAAP) and is an Indiana Certified Addiction Counselor II. She is a member of the National Association of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors (NAADAC) and is a National Certified Addiction Counselor II. Tamara serves on the IAAP Board of Directors and holds an elected officer’s position as Treasurer. IAAP is the Indiana state affiliate to NAADAC. Tamara also is an IAAP Certified Clinical Supervisor, and a Certified Instructor of PRIME FOR LIFE through Prevention Research Institute.In her community, Tamara has been an active member of the DeKalb County Domestic Violence Task Force and has served on the board for Drug Free DeKalb County. Since October of 2008, she provides Readjustment Counseling Services to Combat Veteran’s and their families through the Fort Wayne Vet Center, and continues to facilitate PRIME FOR LIFE groups in DeKalb County for individual, family, and community prevention and intervention.

| Katti Sneed - President Elect |
Dr. Katti Sneed is currently the director of the Social Work program and an associate professor in the Addiction Counseling department at Indiana Wesleyan University. She currently holds a Masters of Social Work from Indiana University and holds advanced licensure in Clinical Social Work and Addictions Counseling. In addition, Dr. Sneed completed her doctorate of Philosophy with her dissertation research focusing on Spirituality and Chemical Dependency. Dr. Sneed has over fifteen years of experience as a psychotherapist serving populations presenting with multiple issues including sexual abuse, drug and alcohol dependencies, chronically mentally ill, domestic violence, anxiety, and depression. Moreover, she has taught parenting classes for incarcerated women and adolescent girls. She has presented at multiple state and national conferences and provided trainings for social workers, chemical dependency counselors, foster care parents, probation officers, and Head Start case managers. Currently, she is the Certification Chairperson and on the board of directors for Indiana Association of Addicted Professionals (IAAP). Dr. Sneed holds a NIDA II through the National Association of Alcohol and Drug Counselors (NAADAC) and ICACII certification.

| Stephanie Waddell - Association Manager |
Stephanie Waddell has been serving the association industry for two years. She holds a BS in Tourism Conventions and Event Management from Indiana University. She is also working towards her Graduate Certificate in Public Management from Indiana University. Additionally, Stephanie has been active with the Indiana Chapter of Meeting Professionals International for two years as a student member. She works for Central Office Management Solutions, an association management company based in Indianapolis.
